An excellent rendition of the traditional solitaire game, Golf Solitaire offers Game Center connectivity and visuals/sounds specifically designed for iPad and Retina displays.

How to play:

Golf solitaire is played with a standard 52-card deck. Initially, 35 cards are dealt into seven columns of five cards each (the board). The bottom card of each column is face up. You can utilize the stack of the remaining 17 cards to eliminate cards from the board if they are one rank higher or lower than your selected card. Wild cards can substitute any card.

The objective of the game is to clear the board using as few of the 17 deck cards as possible. After completing each of the 9 holes, any deck cards left credit you one stroke, while remaining table cards penalize you with one stroke. The lower your score, the more proficient you are at the game.
